How do I find out more and access MyChart?

MyChart is a free and secure online portal to exchange messages with your provider, request appointments, renew prescriptions, check your test results and much more. Learn more about what you can do with your MyChart account.

At your first appointment you will receive an activation code that will allow you to register for MyChart.

Am I billed for services?

Like any other clinic or doctor's office, at appointment check-in students will provide their insurance card, along with a form of payment for copay (no cash or checks accepted). Insurance will be billed directly.

 What do I need to bring with me to appointments and to check in?

• Drivers license, state-issued ID, or passport
• Insurance card
• Credit or debit card to process co-payments if your insurance requires co-payments
• List of current medications and medical history

What should I expect after my appointment?

• Your nurse practitioner or physician will provide a treatment plan for you.
• You will be directed to register with MyChart.
• The bill for your visit will be submitted to the insurance you provided at check in.
• Once the bill is processed with insurance, any amount that you are responsible for (ex. co-insurance, deductible) will be billed to you directly from Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. The bill will come to the mailing address you provided at check in.

Can I get my allergy shots at the Health Center?

Yes, with approval from your allergist.  Please contact our office to arrange.

Does the Health Center perform labs from outside offices, like my home dermatology office?

Yes, you must have a written order that includes diagnosis (ICD10 code), tests ordered, and provider signature. You can bring a hard copy of the lab order to the clinic or the medical provider can fax it directly to us at 614-366-2781.
