NEW: Career Connection is offering a new Career Course (UC 100.7) for .25 credits in Spring semester called "Designing Your Future". Based on the process known as "design thinking", this course will challenge students to think of themselves as designers. In this class, students will have ideas, test them, and refine them over time to identify options to pursue following graduation.
Bishop Launch Program (BLP)
A Fall-semester intern development program which helps students gain the confidence and competence to successfully "launch' into post OWU lives and careers.
Real Life 101
A Senior Spring-semester initiative dedicated to easing the transition from OWU to life after college. Students will be strategically paired with an Alumni Mentor and will gain essential skills on networking, balancing finances, searching for jobs, developing coping strategies, and succeeding as an emerging professional.
Alumni Partners Program
These programs engage Alumni from a wide range of disciplines who are passionate about offering career assistance to students. Alumni engage with students virtually or in-person to offer career advice, employer connections, resume reviews, and more! Many of these Alumni are happy to engage with organizations and faculty to conduct presentations. Their emails and details can be found on the Alumni Partners Page.
Each month we invite recruiters to OWU to table in the HWCC atrium. Engaging with these employers is a great way to make some great connections!
