What is the Youth Leadership Team?

The Youth Leadership Team (YLT) is a flexible leadership development program offered only during the Overnight Camp experience. It empowers students to build confidence, voice, and responsibility while contributing meaningfully to the OWL community. Rather than a rigid structure, YLT is intentionally adaptable so it can grow alongside student interests, emerging opportunities, and the evolving needs of the program.

This year, the team will focus on developing leadership skills, collaboration, and service through real responsibilities, mentorship, and project-based experiences. Students will have opportunities to contribute ideas, help shape activities, and practice communication and problem‑solving in authentic contexts.
