The Wesleyan in Washington program is open to all majors at Ohio Wesleyan. The Arneson Institute staff matches you with important and substantive internships and educational experiences not restricted to any one discipline. In addition to government and associated public policy research internships, you’ll find abundant opportunities for placement in government agencies such as major media organizations, the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, NASA, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Geographic Society, the National Endowment for Humanities, and the Smithsonian Institution.

Washington, D.C. is also a “global city,” with headquarters of major international organizations such the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Organization of American States, embassies from all corners of the globe, and the U.S. departments of State and Defense. The wide assortment of government and policy opportunities in the three branches of government, political parties, law firms, NGOs, prominent print and broadcast media, and think tanks provides opportunities for you, not matter what your Ohio Wesleyan major.
