Graduate Placements: Medicine

During the past six years, Ohio Wesleyan graduates have been accepted to five medical schools in Ohio (including The Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University) and many top medical schools across the country, including those at Howard University, Indiana University, the University of Colorado, Penn State, Tufts University, UC-San Diego, and the University of Michigan.

In the past 6 completed application cycles (2020-2025), ~56% of OWU applicants have been accepted into a medical school or college of medicine. The national average over the same time period is ~43%. In addition, more than 90% of those applicants from OWU that met or exceeded the median GPA and MCAT score for new medical school matriculants were accepted.
