OWU Fellowship Received: Baran Fellowship
The money generously given to me from the “Jan W. Baran and Kathryn K. Baran Endowed Fund for the Encouragement of Post Graduate Fellowships” will be used for my project during the summer of 2018. I will be working individually with a professor at the University of Chicago to develop the reading comprehension skills necessary for academic research. I will work on grammar and vocabulary while reading a range of scholarly texts written by French medievalists. The experience from this class will provide the language competency required for graduate level study in medieval and art history. During my senior year, I will search for a challenging graduate program specific enough for my interests.
