Ben Ahrens, DO

Dr. Ahrens grew up in Oshkosh, WI. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison before continuing on to Medical School at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a Family Medicine Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship with OhioHealth at Riverside. Outside of work, he enjoys cheering for Wisconsin sports teams and spending time with his wife, two children, and aussie doodle. He is proud to provide sports medicine and student health coverage to Ohio Wesleyan University in addition to his primary care sports medicine practice in Hilliard, OH, and his teaching role at The Riverside Family Medicine Residency. Jason Diehl, MD

Medical School: The Ohio State University College of Medicine
Residency: Riverside Methodist Hospital
Fellowship: Michigan State University Hospital, Faculty of Development and The Ohio State University Medical Center, Sports Medicine

Dr. Diehl is board-certified in family medicine and sports medicine. He has a special interest in comprehensive sports medicine services with a focus on providing complete care for the endurance athlete, such as runners, cyclists, swimmers and triathletes. Dr. Diehl is also the sports medicine fellowship director for the Riverside Methodist Sports Medicine Program.

Prior to joining MAX, he was assistant professor of clinical family medicine at The Ohio State University and also team physician for the OSU Athletic Department specializing in a host of sports, including track and field, swimming, diving, softball, men’s basketball, cross country and volleyball.

Dr. Diehl is currently the team physician for the USA Triathlon, Ohio Wesleyan University and the medical advisor for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Team in Training and previously served as the medical director for the Run Wild Racing series. He is a former varsity football and track athlete for Ohio Wesleyan and he is an avid cyclist and distance runner.
