You don’t have to know anything about astronomy to help! Many of our best volunteers know very little about astronomy.

So, check us out!

Volunteers are always welcome at Perkins Observatory!

There are many, many areas where you could be of great help to us. Right now, we can use assistance during our Friday evening programs. Volunteers who show aptitude and willingness can learn to conduct tours, help with the parking, or run a small telescope for public viewing.

You do not have to be an astronomy expert to volunteer!

Volunteers should have their own source of transportation for safety reasons.

Call Don Stevens at 740-363-1257 and ask for more information about volunteering at Perkins Observatory.
