About

Liz Nix is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) from Utah. Nix is a faculty member at Ohio Wesleyan University. Her graduate school work focused on behavioral interventions in college students. She plans to continue research in behavioral interventions to improve the diets of various communities, particularly low-income communities.

Nix teaches introductory nutrition and an Advanced Human Nutrition and Metabolism course. She enjoys learning and teaching about nutritional biochemistry. She is also interested in learning and teaching about the complex way foods work within our food system and what factors influence our eating behaviors.

Nix is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior.
