The Elephant in the Room...

The two-day event wielded approximately 225 guests. An impressive turnout for 2024!  With these guests, a wide variety of views and experiences were shared leading to a very engaging convention. Various current and former GOP officials addressed the convention attendees, urging Ohio Wesleyan students to embrace active citizenship and exercise their right to vote at every available opportunity, a sentiment echoed by all speakers. Former Ohio Lieutenant Governor, Nancy Hollister, further motivated OWU students to consistently engage by emphasizing the importance of participation, listening, learning, and contributing.
