Student Printing Policy

This policy applies to students at OWU. For OWU Print Services, which offers printing to the public, please see owu.edu/PrintServices.

Who Can Print

Students with an Ohio Wesleyan University network account can print from campus computers in the labs in Welch and Hayes, Hobson Library, Slocum Reading Room and Corns 109. Students may also print supported documents wirelessly on their personal devices using webprint.owu.edu. Faculty and Guests in Hobson library can also print with the assistance of library staff.

Print Credit Allotment

Each student is allotted $20 free print credits per semester. Unused balances are carried over from fall to spring and spring to summer, but are reset with the fall term.

• $0.05 per page for black and white ($20 = 400 pages)
• 0.15 per page for color ($20 = 133 pages)

Adding Print Credits

Students who would like to increase their allotted print credits should request additional credits from the Circulation desk in Hobson Library

Printer Problems

Printer problems should be reported to Information Services using the BishopWorks ticketing system.

Reimbursement 

There is no monetary reimbursement for unused credits. Also, print credits are not transferable to other accounts.
