Collin's Law

Ohio Senate Bill 126, also known as Collin’s Law, took effect on October 7, 2021. Collin's Law is Ohio's Anti Hazing Act and enacts a number of changes intended to end hazing and any organizational culture that allows hazing to persist. In addition to increasing criminal penalties for hazing, Collin’s Law also requires institutions of higher education to post a report of all hazing violations on a publicly accessible website and provide training to all students.

The Bishop Way supports hazing prevention education and trainings at Ohio Wesleyan. The full Policy on Hazing is available in the Student Handbook. If you become aware of incidents of hazing and/or suspicious behavior, please submit a report via the online reporting form.

Below you will find a list of all adjudicated hazing incidents that occurred at the Ohio Wesleyan University involving a recognized student organization over the past 5 years.
