Once you meet our staff, you’ll find we’re as diverse as the students around us. We bring multiple faith traditions, as well as varied ministry experiences, to our interactions with you.
We do agree, however, that your spiritual growth and health are what matters.
That’s why we’re always up for a casual conversation or, if requested, more involved pastoral care. We don’t promise not to ask thought-provoking questions because we’re genuinely interested in your answers. We’ve found that the more you explore your beliefs, the more you both expand and “own” them. And since we’re convinced that spiritual growth and academic growth go hand-in-hand, we’ll walk with you as continue along your path of discovery.
If you spend much time with us, you’ll encounter some key concepts we’re “into.”
For instance, you’ll hear a lot about vocational discernment, the idea that all people have a place where their deepest passion meets a deep need in the world. Or, the concept of servant leadership. Servant leaders are those who are servants first and foremost; they lead after discovering that leading is the best way for them to help empower others. In essence, we believe in you — that your unique existence gives you a place in a world that needs you.
