Auditions & Scholarships
Your Talent Belongs at OWU
Whether you perform on stage, make music, or move through dance, your talent can open the door to an Ohio Wesleyan education. Audition for a Performing Arts Scholarship and show us what you do best. Scholarships are available for incoming students planning to major or minor in Music, major in Theatre, or minor in Dance.
2026-2027 Audition Dates:
Nov. 14 | Jan. 23 | Feb. 15 | Feb. 21 | Feb. 28
Audition application forms close 1 week before each audition date. Performing Arts Scholarship auditions must be completed by Feb. 28, 2027.
Music Scholar Awards of up to $45,000 per Year
Make music a bigger part of your OWU experience—and earn a scholarship for your talent. Music Scholar Awards (up to $45,000/year) replace merit awards and are not stackable. Music Performance Awards ($1,000-$4,000/year) are stackable with other merit awards.
Theatre Scholarships
Bring your talent to the stage. OWU Theatre Scholarships (up to $7,500/year) are offered to our strongest auditioning students pursuing a major in Theatre. This scholarship is stackable with other academic merit awards.
Dance Scholarships
Put your movement and creativity in the spotlight. OWU Dance Scholarships (up to $1,500/year) are offered to our strongest auditioning students pursuing a minor in Dance. This scholarship is stackable with other academic merit awards.
