Do you know how to prevent gym germs?

Answer

Germs are something we all work to avoid. When you workout in a gym you are sweating a lot and germs are everywhere. However, it is easy to avoid them by wiping down equipment before and after use, using towels to wipe your own sweat away, and taking showers-- or at least washing your hands-- right after a workout.

Do you know how many hydration stations are on campus?

Answer

There are hydration stations on campus. Not having enough water can lead to health issues so be sure to drink up!

Tip

When you work out do you remember to warm up? Jumping right into a workout can be stressful for your body. Warming up allows it to stretch and work up to the work out. It also helps mentally prepare you for the workout and can improve your performance.

What nutrient helps your body use calcium?

Answer

Vitamin D, which you can get from the sun, tuna, and certain cereals and juices that have vitamin D in them. Calcium is important in building bones, helping blood clot, maintaining heart rhythm, and much more.
