Emily earned her B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Wittenberg University. She completed her graduate work in Liberal Studies at Ohio Dominican University. Emily joined the Sagan ARC as a part-time Writing Consultant in 2008. In the last 15 years she has been Assistant Coordinator of Academic Advising, Coordinator of the Academic Skills Center, and Coordinator of the Bishop ACCESS program. Emily is currently the Director of the Sagan Academic Resource Center, Academic Coach, and Bishop ACCESS Director.

Amanda holds a bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University and her master's degree from Southern Methodist University. Amanda has more than 15 years' experience in higher education, finding her home as a disability resource professional. Amanda joined Ohio Wesleyan University and the Sagan ARC in 2022 as the Director of Accessibility Services where she has nurtured a passion for creating and facilitating access for our students. Amanda loves reading, creating art, and being active outdoors; she is an avid plant mom and loves living in Delaware with her wife and daughter.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education, both in Mathematics, from The Ohio State University, along with an additional 18 credit hours of graduate Mathematics courses from Otterbein University. Katie has 23 years of Mathematics teaching and tutoring experience at The Ohio State University, Hilliard Darby High School, Columbus State Community College, and Ohio Wesleyan University. She joined the Sagan Academic Resource Center in 2018 as the Coordinator of the Quantitative Skills Center and has since expanded her role to include academic coaching (Bishop ACCESS program), ASAP instructor (Academic Success and Achievement Pathways), MATH 108 instructor (Precalculus), and Coordinator of Peer Tutoring.

Julia is a 2005 OWU alumna from Hamilton, OH. She and husband (and fellow Battling Bishop) have three kids who consider campus their home. Julia has served as an academic coach since 2019, and absolutely loves watching her students achieve success. When she isn't chauffeuring her kids to band practice or drama rehearsal, she loves baking bread and walking her dachshund.

Sarah graduated in 1998 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Political Science from the University of Dayton. She then spent one year in law school at Capital University before deciding teaching was her real passion. After working in K-12 schools for six years, Sarah returned to grad school and earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in mythological studies from Pacifica. Sarah began teaching humanities courses in 2008 and completed her dissertation in 2011. Sarah is also a professional writer, journalist, and author, with work in many print and online publications, including USA Today, Healthline, and Business Insider. Her debut picture book for children releases in May 2025. Sarah has worked periodically in the OWU Writing Center since joining OWU's English faculty in 2013 and joined the Writing Center as the assistant coordinator in 2021. She has been the coordinator of the Writing Center since the fall of 2022.

Katy graduated from OWU in 2020 with a double major in Spanish and Psychology. The summer prior to her final year at OWU, Katy interned in the Sagan ARC and fell in love with the office. She officially joined the staff in the summer of 2020 and has been in her current role as Coordinator of the Academic Skills Center and Assistant Coordinator of Peer Tutoring since October 2022. Outside of work, Katy enjoys collecting houseplants and learning new skills and hobbies- currently French and crochet. A fan of the StrengthsFinder Assessment, her Top 5 Strengths are Discipline, Consistency, Learner, Analytical, and Responsibility. She is passionate about helping students develop the skills that are fundamental to their success at OWU!

Tammie received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Illinois State University and attended The Ohio State University as a chemistry graduate student and Teaching Assistant. She went on to spend 20 years in educational publishing, writing, editing, and managing the publication of middle school science textbooks and professional learning materials. She first came to Ohio Wesleyan as the Chemistry Lab Manager and is currently a General Chemistry lab instructor and an academic coach in the Bishop Access program. She has a passion for helping students gain confidence in their academic abilities and build their own personal definitions of success as they navigate college life.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Dayton in 2002.  She then went on to do a year of community service where she met her husband, learned to cook & bake, and traveled the United States and beyond.  Emily has been a registered Yoga Teacher since 2013 and has taught in many different places and teaches yoga here at OWU since 2016 (which is her favorite place to teach).  She is an Academic Coach and loves connecting with students, interacting with students everyday and offering support.

Melissa is a life-long Delawarean. She earned her AAS, Paralegal from Marion Technical College as an adult while raising her three children. She spent 8 years working for the Delaware County Prosecutor's Office before transitioning to work in non-profit, including joining a collective group to start a non-profit. She belongs to numerous local boards and spends her freetime volunteering and giving back to the community. As the world continues to change, she believes we need to be able to adapt to those changes so helping our next generation of leaders is where she puts her focus. Having the tools to be successful in whatever students choose to do with their lives is a win for all of us.

Reggie is a graduate of The University of Southern California (Marshall School of Business Administration, B.S. Marketing/Finance). After a more than three  decade long career in Marketing, Franchising and being an Entrepreneur in multiple businesses, Reggie returned to his High School Alma Mater in Columbus, Ohio. There he served as Track and Field Coach, Assistant Athletic Director and Student Mentor for 17yrs. While there he was the Director of the A.I.M. Program which assisted Student Athletes with Executive Functioning challenges while also helping to monitor eligibility requirements for all Athletes. Along with being a member of the Bishop Access Academic Coaching team, he is an Assistant Track and Field Coach at OWU coaching the Long and Triple jump events. Reggie lives in Gahanna, OH. He is Married (Tina). He has two children and five grandchildren. Reggie's daily mantra is  "While we go about recognizing all the gifts that we are given each day, all that is asked  is that we be in the present and strive to be our very best."

Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University. Prior to her time at OWU, Katie taught elementary/middle school students for four years and then spent seven years working as a Health Educator for a local health department. At OWU, Katie is passionate about the one-on-one connections she builds with students. She loves watching students gain confidence in their academic abilities and believe in their own power to change and grow.

Zuma earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Wright State University and her Master of Arts in Communications from Texas Southern University. She has spent over a decade supporting college students in higher education through roles such as Academic Counselor, Student Success Advisor, and Adjunct Instructor. Throughout her career, Zuma has been passionate about helping students build confidence, discover their strengths, and develop the skills to thrive both in and out of the classroom. She loves creating a welcoming space where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to reach their goals. Zuma is thrilled to join the Bishop ACCESS team.

Catie earned her Bachelor's from SUNY Brockport and her Master's of Education from Nazareth College. After taking time off as a middle school Intervention Specialist in Richmond, VA, relocating to Delaware, OH and raising her two daughters, Catie returned to work as an Intervention Aide and substitute teacher for the last five years. Catie is excited for her new role as the Testing Center Co-Coordinator and looks forward to meeting all kinds of new faces.
