Our Purpose

The Disability Services Center (DSC) works to structure and deliver services in ways that promote individual growth, development and self-determination; increase access and opportunities for people with disabilities through collaboration.

Our Vision

The Disability Services Center envisions a University community that values and ensures full participation for individuals with disabilities.

What Services do we offer?

  • Review of disability documentation
  • Reasonable accommodations for classroom and exam settings
  • Educational counseling for students with learning disabilities
  • Consultation with faculty on student needs
  • Assistance in self-monitoring; effectiveness of communication
  • Information/referral

How Can we Help?

  • We respond to inquiries from prospective students and their families
  • We consult with faculty regarding teaching and learning best practices for students with disabilities
  • We provide technical assistance
  • We provide consultation with high schools
