Did you know that sitting all day long affects your posture and can give you back pain? When you sit for too long, your hip muscles tighten and can cause knee, shin, and back pain as well as bad posture. However, simply standing occasionally while you work, keeping your hips from tightening can greatly help.

Do you know how much sleep you should get a night?

Answer

Adults need 7-9 hours of sleep a night to be able to function the best during the day. Not getting enough quality sleep can not only make you drowsy, but also cause health problems both physically and mentally. Consistency is also important, you can't just catch up on sleep later. It's important to sleep every night.

Often times people are too embarrassed to tell their doctor when they are having certain issues which can worsen the situation. Your doctor is trained to help you with these things, and if you don't tell them they can't help you. Remember, anything you tell them is confidential. Make sure to describe to your doctor the issues you are having and to listen carefully.

What's the best place to store medicine?

Answer

Medicine should be stored in a cool, dry place to help it last longer and be more effective. Be careful with storing them in bathrooms as bathrooms can get very warm and damp causing your medication to break down faster.
