About the Major

To develop breadth and depth of knowledge, you'll take a core curriculum designed especially for OWU Politics & Government majors. Working closely with your faculty advisor, you'll select courses in each core area to meet your unique interests and career goals:

  • American Politics
  • International Relations
  • Comparative Politics
  • Political Theory

The department also offers a five-course Politics & Government minor.

POPULAR SECOND MAJORS

Students who think they may want to go to law school often double-major in Politics and Government and Pre-Law. Other students may pursue a second major to expand their opportunities or follow a particular interest.
