Nicholas (Nick) Braydich

Hometown: Struthers, OH

About Me: My name is Nicholas Mark Braydich, or as most people call me, “Nick”.  I am from Struthers, Ohio, where I attended Youngstown Cardinal Mooney.  During my time at Cardinal Mooney, I accumulated five varsity letters (golf/basketball), kept a perfect conduct record, and was a member of several clubs including The National Honor Society.  I will continue golfing at Ohio Wesleyan University.  Business first intrigued me when I heard Jay Geier speak in Atlanta.  His words inspired me to look into business and take classes in high school.  I am excited to learn more about business and experience various opportunities at OWU.

Duncan Copeland

Hometown: San Diego, CA

About Me: My name is Duncan Copeland, and I am from San Diego, CA.  While attending Rancho Bernardo High School, I was on the varsity lacrosse team all four years (captain my senior year), Link Crew, Club America, and Politics Club. For lacrosse, I was given the honor of being an Adrenaline All-American and a U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American. I am excited to be a part of the Economics Management Fellows Program here at OWU, where I will major in Economics and minor in Accounting.

Aunders Erickson

Hometown: Portland, OR

About Me: My name is Aunders Erickson.  I graduated from Westview High School in Portland, Oregon.  At Westview, I was a four-year varsity letterman in golf and will be continuing my golf career at OWU.  Though most of my time was dedicated to academics and golf, I enjoyed spending time with friends and family, along with playing and watching all the sports I could. This past year, with help from my dad, I found my passion for economics.  I am excited to get started at OWU and am very grateful to be a part of the Economics Management Fellows Program.

Jenna Fannin

Hometown: Bellefontaine, OH

About Me: My name is Jenna Fannin. I am from Bellefontaine, Ohio and attended Bellefontaine High School. In high school, I was an active member of my school’s DECA chapter. I competed in the Personal Financial Literacy event both my junior and senior year, even competing at the International Career Development Conference in April 2015.  DECA is what sparked my interest in the world of business, particularly marketing.  Through my DECA advisor, I obtained a marketing internship with a local non-for-profit, learning the basics of marketing first-hand.  I am very excited to be participating in the Economics Management Fellows Program and furthering my education in Marketing and Business Administration.

Kyle Jue

Hometown: Lemoore, CA

About Me: My name is Kyle Jue, and I am from Lemoore, CA. I attended Lemoore High School about 30 minutes south of Fresno.  I have been heavily involved in the California Future Farmers of America and the Boy Scouts of America on top of playing varsity football and swimming. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to compete at a state level with an entrepreneurship project though the FFA and be a part of the OA while working to receive my Eagle in the BSA. I’ll be playing football for the Bishops and hope to find success on the field, in the classroom, and with my future.

Speridoula (Elea) Karras

Hometown: Bellbrook, OH

About Me: My name is Elea Karras. I am from Bellbrook, Ohio, a small suburb of Dayton. I attended The Miami Valley School, where I played varsity basketball and tennis and was active in numerous clubs such as Yearbook Club, Red Cross, Spanish Honor Society, and Diversity Council. I was fortunate enough to be a leader in high school, acting as class president my sophomore through senior year.  I am looking forward to continuing my studies and basketball career at OWU and am excited for the opportunities that are granted by the Economics Management Fellows Program. I plan to double major in Business Administration and Psychology.  Go Bishops!

Caroline Kermode

Hometown: Chagrin Falls, OH

About Me: My name is Caroline Kermode. I am from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, a small town outside of Cleveland. While attending Kenston High School, I was involved in the Business Club and was the Capital Development Director for WKHR, our nonprofit radio station, and hosted my own radio show. I have also studied classical ballet for six years and love to travel. I look forward to meeting everyone!

Beverly King

Hometown: Louisville, KY

About Me: My name is Beverly King. I am from Louisville, Kentucky, where I attended Kentucky Country Day School. In high school, I played field hockey and basketball, and I was also an active participant of the theater program, as well as a class officer, editor of the yearbook, and member of the Actors Guild. I plan to double major in Business and Theatre. I am greatly looking forward to continuing my academic journey at Ohio Wesleyan and in the Economics Management Fellows Program.

Connor King

Hometown: Delaware, OH

About Me: My name is Connor King. I am from Delaware, Ohio.  I attended Delaware Hayes, where I participated in football, baseball, National Honor Society, Student Council, and Business Professionals of America. I am looking forward to attending Ohio Wesleyan University where I will be participating in the Economic Management Fellows Program and continuing my football career for the Battling Bishops.  I have always had a liking for the business world, especially the stock market, so I am excited to see how this program will help out. The exposure to alumni, faculty, and internships will be extremely helpful in my business career.

Greg Margevicius

Hometown: Cleveland, OH

About Me: My name is Greg Margevicius. I was born and raised in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood on the west side of town. For the last four years, I attended St. Edward High School, where I was involved in various extracurricular activities, such as National Honor Society, Model United Nations, Mock Trial, and Student Government. I look forward to joining OWU’s Economics Management Fellows Program and learning about how individuals and societies interact with each other to create wealth and hopefully take this knowledge into a career.

Jack Miklos

Hometown: Broadview Heights, OH

About Me: My name is Jack Miklos, I’m from Broadview Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. I attended North Royalton High School. I played varsity football in high school. I plan to continue to play football at Ohio Wesleyan. I took AP economics junior year, and I loved the class. It was a major reason I decided to study business and economics. I look forward to majoring in Financial Economics and continuing to play football. I can't wait to meet everybody at OWU over the next four years.

Heber (Aidan) O’Rourke

Hometown: Philadelphia, PA

About Me: My name is Heber Aidan O’Rourke, but I have always gone by Aidan. I am from South Philadelphia and have lived there all my life. While at my high school, Julia R. Masterman, I played tennis and ultimate Frisbee. I was also part of the voter registration club. I discovered my love for economics during a summer program at Drexel University, where we explored the field of economics and business-related professions. My senior year economics class only strengthened my interest in economics. I am not sure exactly where I want to end up in the field of economics, but I am excited to meet new people through the Economics Management Fellows Program.

Marie Overing

Hometown: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

About Me: My name is Marie Overing, and I’m from Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. I attended secondary school (Vossius Gymnasium) in Amsterdam. My hobbies are golf and skiing, though I also used to enjoy field hockey.  In the Netherlands, you play sports for a local sports club and not for a University. This makes it difficult to combine sports, especially golf and study. I will be playing golf for the Battling Bishops and I can’t wait to come to OWU!

Andrew (Drew) Riggle

Hometown: Gettysburg, PA

About Me: My name is Drew Riggle. I am from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Gettysburg Area High School and participated in varsity soccer, varsity tennis, Future Business Leaders of America, and National Honor Society.  I placed 10th in the state in a Future Business Leaders of America Business Financial Plan Challenge, and co-captained the soccer team. I am interested in Accounting or Economics as potential majors. My dad, an OWU alumnus, helped introduce me to the academic aspects and soccer program OWU offers. The Economics Management Fellows Program also influenced my decision because of the great opportunities the program provides. I’m very excited to spend the next four years playing soccer and participating in the EMF program!

Antonio Romanelli

Hometown: Lewis Center, OH

About Me: My name is Antonio Romanelli, and I am a recent graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School.  At DeSales I was involved in varsity soccer, National Honor Society, Student Council, and many other clubs. I plan to pursue my dreams of playing college soccer at Ohio Wesleyan and engaging in the rich soccer traditions. I also hope to pursue my academic goals and dreams by using the knowledge gathered through Ohio Wesleyan and the Economics Management Fellows Program.

Svitlana Yakim

Hometown: Gahanna, OH

About Me: My name is Svitlana Yakim.  I am from Gahanna, Ohio, which is about 45 minutes southeast of Delaware. I attended Gahanna Lincoln High School. I participated in varsity golf, National Honor Society, International Club, and community service activities as well as taking many art classes. I plan to major in International Business and minor in Fine Arts. I am particularly interested in globalization in the business world, and I hope the Economics Management Fellows program will guide me in the right direction as well as help me create lifelong relationships. I cannot wait to attend OWU and create amazing new memories over four years.

Louis (Louie) Yank

Hometown: Lower Burrell, PA

About Me: My name is Louis Yank. I am from Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh. I was president of my school’s Environmental Club and treasurer of our National Honor Society. I was also a member of the tennis team and Model United Nations. I enjoyed being in drama club productions for three years as well. I plan to major in Finance Economics and to explore my interests in math, politics, and theater. Attending the leadership academy at Mercy College in New York helped me discover my passion in the business field. I am very happy to be a part of the OWU community and the Economics Management Fellows Program!

Adam Yingling

Hometown: Gettysburg, PA

About Me: My name is Adam Yingling. I am 6 ½ hours away from my hometown of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I attended Gettysburg Area High School, where I was involved in Future Business Leaders of America and a member of National Honor Society.  I also participated in varsity soccer and varsity tennis all four years. I am excited to start my college career at OWU as an aspiring business student and member of the Bishop’s varsity soccer team.
