About

Carrie Hurst graduated with an MFA in Technical Direction from Indiana University and spent several years working at Grand Canyon University before moving back home to the midwest. She has worked at several professional theatres around the country, IATSE union houses, and Norwegian Cruise lines. Carrie specializes in Scenic and Lighting design, as well as advanced theatre technology, including computer drafting and rendering, rigging, motorized systems, and welding. She has a passion for teaching students both the theoretical and practical skills involved in Theatre Arts.
