Eligibility Requirements for Off-Campus Programs

The eligibility requirements for participating in a semester-long off-campus program are listed below.  Many instituional partners have eligibility requirements that exceed these. No program guarantees acceptance; some programs are competitive in certain years. The IOCP Office will help you find the program that is best for you.

Sophmore or Junior Status (+12 units of credit earned by departure)

 Advisor Approval

Good conduct record (cannot be on probation or under investigation)

2.5 minimum cumulative GPA (some programs have higher GPA requirements)

 No outstanding OWU bills

Students must be enrolled full-time while away (unless they are studying abroad during the summer)
