Preservation Parks, Sunbury, Ohio Marketing Internship

20 hours/week Pay: $12.00/ The marketing internship affords an opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the marketing field, including writing, community and media relations, graphic design and more. This applicant should be able to work through summer break and be available some weekends and evenings, as the intern will coordinate and attend community events where Preservation Parks has a presence.

Responsibilities: · Assist with the creation of flyers, brochures, posters and other display materials; · Assist with posting on Preservation Parks social media platforms; · Write media advisories and assist with news releases; · Write and set up the distribution for e-newsletters; · Assist with the planning, set up, and attendance at special events including parades and community expos; · Update community calendars with Preservation Parks programs; · Assist with other marketing tasks as they arise.

Minimum Requirements: · Applicants must be students in college who are studying and/or interested in the marketing and/or communications field; · Must enjoy working in the public sector; · Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills; · Graphic design/social media experience preferred; · Experienced in using in a design tool such as Microsoft Publisher or Adobe InDesign (preferred); · Able to work some weekends, holidays and evenings for parades and events.

The Bookworm Box, Delaware, Ohio Social Media Intern

8 weeks, beginning on Monday, January 7, 2019. The Intern will focus on a social media marketing campaign designed to drive sales utilizing our current Facebook and Instagram accounts.

COMPONENTS • Analyze metrics and provide insights & performance reports for current social ads and paid content. • Assist in developing social content strategies across social based on findings. • Implement measurable best practices. • Report on key and emerging social trends. • Create a list of the best influencers in the mom/parent space.

REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a student who is majoring in business or communications. The student should have excellent communication skills with an avid interest in social media. The student also needs to be available to meet on weekends.

Dot's Tots Foundation, Columbus, Ohio Summer 2019 Intern, All Economics and Business Department Majors

Dot's Tots Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization established in 2013 to provide support to families offering foster care, children with debilitating disease, injury, and/or illness; and teenagers in their higher education pursuits.  To date, over $205,000 has been provided to Central Ohio youth.  The foundation is currently seeking a student for 10 weeks during the summer who can assist with marketing, event planning, fundraising, networking, social media and other duties as assigned.  Experience promoting via social media and marketing preferred.  Event planning experience is desirable along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. The intern will work remotely and attend necessary meetings. A stipend and mileage reimbursement will be offered monthly during the internship.
